Abstract/Citation: Regulates various aspects of imprisonment. Part 7 (s. 142-156) deals with employment of prisoners. Provides for earnings scheme, rates of payment, grading of prisoners, prisoners unfit for normal labour, exercise for special prisoners, type and record of prisoners' labour, entries in employment book, allocation of labour to prisoners, ratio of escorts to working parties, restriction on working of prisoners, employment of prisoners in disciplinary capacity, and work on sundays and public holidays.
