Comprehensive legislation governing entry, stay and departure of foreigners. Divided into 9 parts. Part 1 contains general provisions. Part 2 regulates arrival and departure, including passports and visas. Part 3 provides for stay and residence and regulates issue, renewal and revocation of residence permit. Part 4 deals with denial of entry and expulsion. Part 5 contains procedural provisions and Part 6 provisions regarding foreigners to whom the agreement on European Economic Area applies. Part 7 provides for refugees and protection against persecution. Part 8 contains administrative provisions, and Part 9 provides for administrative regulations as well as entry into force.
