Abstract/Citation: Comprehensive legislation on unemployment insurance. Divided into eight parts. Part I contains introductory provisions. Part II provides for establishment of unemployment insurance fund. Part III regulates claiming of benefits. Benefits covered by this Act include: unemployment benefit, illness benefit, maternity benefit, adoption benefit, and dependant's benefit. Part IV deals with enforcement; Part V with commissioner and claims officer. Part VI regulates activities of unemployment insurance board. Finally, Parts VII and VIII contain general provisions.
