Abstract/Citation: Amends Medical Schemes Act 1998 so as to extend certain rights of members to their dependants. Broadens definition of complaint, explicitly prohibits discrimination on the basis of age, further regulates practice of reinsurance, regulates circumstances under which waiting periods may be applied, improves powers of Council and Registrar, and provides for several related matters.
