Abstract/Citation: Amends the Aged Persons Act, 1967 to provide for conditions regarding subsidies for managers of registered old-age homes and for monitoring of these conditions. A new s. 3C prohibits discrimination with regard to admission to old-age homes; a new s. 6A requires medical care providers to notify authorities if they suspect that someone had suffered abuse in an old-age home. S. 6B prohibits the abuse of an aged person.
