Second Region

Sets forth the principles of the legal status of foreign citizens, the obligation to respect the Constitution and to observe the laws of the Republic. Contains provisions concerning foreign citizens permanently or temporarily residing in the Republic, and the granting of asylum. Also lists the fundamental rights, freedoms and duties of foreign citizens in Tadjikistan (inter alia, labour activity, rest, health care, social security, education), conditions of entry into and exit from the Republic, and matters relating to the reduction of their stay and deportation.
