Second Region

Grants civil servants a monthly allowance equivalent to 10 per cent of their basic salary as from 30 June 1998 or as from the date of appointment for those being appointed after the said date. Such allowance shall not be considered as part of the basic salary of the worker and shall not be subject to any taxes or fees.
