Second Region

Amends the Factories (Shipbuilding and Ship-repairing) Regulations. Inter alia, inserts new regulations requiring persons to undergo a safety course before carrying out spray painting in a confined space, requiring the conduct of safety exercises every 12 months, and requiring persons to attend a safety training course before being appointed as a manager. Also amends provisions relating to hand-over of shifts and work with hazardous materials. Made under the Factories Act.
