Abstract/Citation: Internet providers shall use their best effort to ensure that nothing appears in the Internet which is against public interest, especially contents which, inter alia, "bring the Government of Singapore into hatred or contempt;" "denigrate or satirise any race or religious group;" "promote religious deviations or occult practices such as Satanism;" "are pornographic" or "depict or propagate sexual perversions such as homosexuality, lesbianism, and paedophilia." Made under the Singapore Broadcasting Authority Act (Chapter 297).
