Abstract/Citation
Establishes a Samurdhi Authority of Sri Lanka with the function of developing a Samurdhi National Programme for the improvement of the economic and social conditions of youth, women and disadvantaged groups. The Authority shall have the power to maintain "Samurdhi Centres" at the local level, to operate credit schemes, to arrange and conduct lotteries, and to provide vocational training programmes.
