Abstract/Citation: Prohibits foreigners from entry into Kuwait without a valid passport or a laissez-passer and, where applicable, a valid visa issued by a Kuwaiti embassy or consular official. Specifies different types of visas ( for vistors, domestic workers, businessmen, students, etc.), and the conditions for obtaining them. Permits foreigners who have entered into Kuwait legally to obtain a temporary residence permits, and ordinary residence permits the validity of which will depend on the motive of their visit. Requires foreigners to leave Kuwait within a month of the expiry of their residence permit (unless the permit is renewed). Foreigners leaving Kuwait must submit their passport or another travelling document for an exit stamp.
