Second Region

Stipulates that a residence permit becomes invalid if the holder has been absent from Kuwait for more than six months. Exemptions from this rule include students, patients whose conditions require treatement abroad, and employees whose duties require absence from Kuwait for more than six months. Permission to be absent should be sought and obtained by those exempted. Written and certified evidence must be submitted.
