Abstract/Citation
Provides for a scheme that, in the public interest, gives special protection to disclosures about unlawful, negligent or improper public sector conduct or danger to public health or safety or the environment. Deals with matters such as disclosure process, privilege, protection and compensation. Consequential amendments to the Freedom of Information Act 1992, the Health Rights Commission Act 1991, the Industrial Relations Act 1990 and the Public Sector Management Commission Act 1990.
