Abstract/Citation
This Act, incorporating all changes through 1979, imposes a general registration obligation on persons in Sri Lanka. Exempted are, inter alia, Sri Lankan citizens and holders of valid visas or endorsements pursuant to the Immigrants and Emigrants Act. The registration obligation is related to an obligation to carry a valid identity card.
