Abstract/Citation
Shortens the period of advance notice of dismissal for employees (previously a minimum of 6 weeks) and lengthens that for workers (previously a minimum of 2 weeks) by providing for a basic minimum period of 4 weeks' advance notice, applicable to everyone. The same advance notice shall be given to employees by wage-earners when they resign. Provides that, during the probation period, which cannot exceed 6 months, the period for advance notice is 2 weeks for both dismissal and resignation. Sets out that seniority is calculated beginning from the age of 25 years.
