Abstract/Citation: Applies to all employees of the State Banks except for the bankers and their assistants. The agreements are made between the Union of Icelandic Bank Employees and the boards of the banks. If an agreement cannot be reached, the parties can refer the dispute to arbitration. If these measures have not been taken within 60 days from the expiry date of the collective agreement, the State Arbitrator shall intervene. The Labour Court has jurisdiction in cases concerning strikes, voting, social rights and disputes concerning the collective agreement.
