Abstract/Citation: The regulation states that the providers of handicapped and sick children from the age of 3 months to 16 years have the right to financial aid in special cases. The State Social Security Institute (SSSI) decides on the benefits and the Regulation provides for different cases in which providers can be granted financial aid. The SSSI must decide the length of the period, which cannot exceed three years. If necessary, the SSSI can decide on another period. Benefits can also be granted retroactive to two years. The Municipal Center for the Handicapped shall receive all necessary information from the SSSI.
