Second Region

Governs safety and health activities within enterprises. Establishes duties to be fulfilled by employees; employers; foremen; those selling, installing, repairing and designing machinery, instruments, tool and other equipment for use in enterprises; and by contractors. Also deals in this context with hours of work, employment of children and young people, and health protection through medical and other examinations, and provides for a system of administration of occupational safety and health.
