Second Region

Provides for a new pension scheme to replace the Provident Fund Scheme introduced in 1965. Establishes the Social Security and National Insurance Trust. Composed of 10 Parts and 46 sections, which concern the board of directors of the Trust, its management and staff, financial matters, employers and workers to whom the law applies, contributions, legal proceedings, and benefits and qualifying conditions. Repeals the Social Security Decree (No. 127 of 1972).
