Abstract/Citation: |
Regulates the working conditions of domestic workers, covering such matters as grading and wages, hours of work, accommodation, transport, lights and fuel, payments for overtime, payments for wages, part-time and casual employment, vacation leave, benefits during sickness, contract and notice, maternity leave, protective equipment, and gratuities on termination of employment. Repeals the Employment (Domestic Workers) Regulations, 1981; the Employment (Domestic Workers) (Amendment) Regulations, 1982 (No. 1); the Employment (Domestic Workers) (Amendment) Regulations, 1984 (No. 3); and the Employment (Domestic Workers) (Amendment) Regulations, 1985 (No.4). Made under the Labour Relations Act, 1985. |
