Abstract/Citation: These regulations under s.28 of the Radiation Protection Act 1991 (No. 8 of 1991) govern use in the workplace of the following non-ionising radiation apparati: ultraviolet sunlamps; microwave ovens; medical and industrial ultrasound apparati; magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) apparati; entertainment lasers; and high power lasers.
