Abstract/Citation: The text of the Treaty is in an appendix to the Notification of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The document lists 16 fields of cooperation (Article 2), which covers, inter alia, protection of air, water, soil, forets, ecological education, waste disposal, and legal issues related to environmental protection. These objectives are to be implemented by the various means provided for in Articles 3 to 11. Activities will be coordinated by the Czechoslovak State Commission for Scientific Development and Investment together with the State Board of the USSR for Environmental Protection.
