Survey on the future demand for vocational training in the textile sector in Brazil

The objective of the survey is to provide technical support to partners in the sector to design and implement professional training strategies that enable them to develop the skills necessary for the success and growth of industries, while ensuring that workers have access to decent and productive jobs.

This research is being developed by two global projects of the International Labour Organization (ILO): South-South Cooperation Project for Decent Work with Cotton and Project on the Future of Work in the Textile and Clothing Sectors, implemented in collaboration with the government and organizations representing employers and workers in Brazil, Ethiopia and Jordan.

Recommendations or proposals for action developed by representatives of the government, employers and workers in Brazil will be shared on a South-South platform, facilitating the dissemination of good practices and the transfer of knowledge with other developing countries.
