The International Labor Organization, in partnership with the Australian Embassy, implemented the project "Decent Work in Jordan’s Floriculture Sector" in line with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals. The project focused directly on raising the efficiency and productivity of less fortunate Jordanians and Syrian refugees including people with disabilities in the sector, by providing “semi-skilled” training opportunities for over a 1,000 beneficiaries from the targeted groups to enable them and build their capabilities according to the labour market needs.
