ILO Knowledge Centre

The Knowledge Centre in the ILO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific is a leading source of knowledge on the world of work and work-related issues in Asia and the Pacific. It serves as hub for information on established and emerging work issues, sustainable livelihoods, and the work-related aspects of economic and social development, technological change and human rights in the region.

ILO knowledge sharing in Asia-Pacific includes the ILO's knowledge strategy, an inventory of ILO activities and selected policies from other international organizations. It also contains a Knowledge sharing toolkit that gives details of key knowledge sharing concepts and methods, so allowing you to identify which techniques will work best for you.

Visitors from inside and outside the ILO are welcome to make use of the Centre's collection.

    Labordoc

    Contains reference and full text access to the world's literature on the world of work - from ILO and other valuable sources, including research centres, NGO’s and other national and multi-lateral organizations. Approximately 500 new records are added every month.

ILO databases

  1. ILOSTAT

    Provides recent labour statistics data for over 100 indicators and 165 economies.

  2. NATLEX

    Contains national labour, social security and  human rights legislation worldwide. It offers citation information and links to full text where available.

  3. NORMLEX

    Brings together information on International Labour Standards (such as ILO Conventions, ratification information, reporting requirements, etc.) as well as national labour and social security laws.

  4. Key Indicators of the Labour Market (KILM)

    A multi-functional research tool of the ILO consisting of country-level data on 18 key indicators of the labour market from 1980 to the latest available year.
