The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) is an international initiative that takes place between 25 November and 10 December, starting with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and ending with Human Rights Day. The primary goal of the campaign is to raise awareness and engage the public in ending GBV and other harmful practices against women and girls.

Capacity Building and Knowledge Tour on Green Jobs and Just Transition for Government and Farmer Communities in Thailand

This workshop will build the capacity of local government, SMEs and farmers’ communities on promoting Green Jobs and Just Transition in sustainable agriculture sector through institutional strengthening and social dialogue. It will also introduce the Just Transition guidelines and its application and advise on local income generation/Green Jobs opportunities as well as skills needs for sustainable agriculture based on the findings of the ILO Green Jobs assessment and case study analysis.

Just Transition in the Textile and Garment Sector in China - International Summit and Capacity Building Workshop on Green Development and Responsible Transformation of Sustainable Fashion Industry

This workshop will build the capacity of local government and industrial players on Just Transition planning in the textile and garment sector. The workshop will introduce the Just Transition guidelines and its application (through the Just Transition Toolkit) and analyze the specific opportunities for social dialogue and accelerated action by government, enterprises, workers and communities for a just and green transition.
